We are the Technology Research Institute of KOMSCO which was established with fully invested by Korean Government in 1951.
We were founded in November 4, 1967 and currently around 80 superior research workers are conducting research activity such as security printing, coin and banknote paper making and the development of ID cards. We have a anti-counterfeit center & three research teams which perform investigation project like design, engraving, ID card and anti-counterfeit technology.
Since the Technical Research Institute has founded, we have develope security paper manufacturing technique for banknote, plate-making and security inks. We are carrying out commercialization of our special technique, trust research activity, assay, design project. In addition, we are giving an impetus to develope the new technology of the money for the future.
Based on high quality research and well-focused strategy, we plan to be a leader or even to be a pioneer in the field of currency manufacturing technology. Our prospective staffs fully recognize the significance of this mission and are striving to make ourselves the truly world research institution.
