The series, consisting of 32 designs, include various subjects of formal event of the Olympics, the mascot and emblem of the Seoul Olympics, stadiums, etc. issued form 1985 to 1988 in order to celebrate the 24th Seoul Olympics 1988, the great sports festival of all mankind.
Especially, 25 kinds of gold foil postage stamps were issued and enhanced national prestige with valuable momories of the Seoul Olympiad as one of the unique anniversary Arts of Seoul Olympics, for the first time in the World.
