Because of special ink, which is mixed with different material having different reflection to the light, the color of face value number changes gold to green.

From the position of eyes, if we look askance at the note, ‘WON’ is appeared by special intaglio printing method.

At the inner layer in a paper, put thin plastic film vertically, silver line will be seen through the light.

See-through Register
The dividing shape of Taegeuk is printed on the both sides of the note at the exactly matching spot. Holding the note up to the light, the combining shape on front and reverse will make a completed Taegeuk.

Difficult to observe by naked eye, possible by using a magnifier. It is appeared as a line or dotted line when forged by color printer or color copier.

By adjusting the thickness of the note, when it is held up to the light, right-hand side portrait, King Sejong, is appeared as opposite direction.

As a kinds of hidden picture, without holding up to the light, it is easy to check face value number by enlarging the difference between paper and thickness rather than hidden picture.

As a bar of watermark using the light and shade on the thin and thick part of the paper, when it is held up to the light, two bright bars will be appeared on the surface of the note.
10. Intaglio Printing

A special method putting ink into the concave and printing as convex. The slightly raised figures can be felt.
11. Fluorescent Security Fiber
Fluorescent Security Fiber
The special fluorescent fiber is inserted into the note. Using ultraviolet fluorescent light, it is possible to see various scattering fluorescent fiber on the note.
12. Endless Pattern

Regular patter is printed on the edge of the note, and pattern on left and right, up and down will be matched when it is connected.
13. Rainbow Printing
Rainbow Printing
As one of printing method, using different inks on the one printing plate, the colour will be mixed naturally. So, the effect of rainbow color will be appeared on the note.
