Security Features of cards

  • Rainbow Printing: a technique whereby two or more colors of ink are printed simultaneously by the same unit on a press to create a controlled merging of the colors similar to the effect seen in a rainbow
  • Micro-printed Text: very small text printed form(REPUBLIC OF KOREA), which can only be read with the aid of a magnifying glass
  • Fluorescent Ink: ink containing material that glows when exposed to light at a specific wavelength(usually UV) and that ceases to glow immediately after the illuminating light source has been extinguished
  • Color Shifting Ink: an image of feature(world map ⇔ triangle) whose appearance in color changes(gold ⇔ purple) dependent on the angle of viewing
  • Transparent Hologram: apply transparent hologram on the surface of card to protect photo-substitution
  • Tactile Feature(design): a surface feature giving a distinctive "feel" to the document

  • Image Perforation: a process whereby images are created by perforating the substrate with a laser. the images appear when viewed in transmitted light
